Burnout By Rebecca Jenshak

“I’ll give you twenty bucks if you let me drive her around.” “I wouldn’t let you lay a finger on her for twenty bucks.” “The bike or the girl?” He smirks and lets his gaze slide over to me. Knox gets off the bike and holds out a hand to me. “Either, but especially not the girl.”

Burnout is not the first book by Rebecca that I’ve read and DEF won’t be the last! I demolished this book is like a day and it’s on my top read list for the year 😍.

Rating: 11/10
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
POV: Dual

Tropes:
- Motocross/Gymnastics
- Enemies to Friends to Lovers
- Good Girl/Bad Boy
- Banter, soooo much banter
- Band of Brothers

Knox Holland is a pro motocross rider who races (IYKYK 😏). After his temper leaves him in hot water he turns to Avery to help him train. He’ll do anything to be able to keep riding. Even letting a little gymnast teach him to moves help him ride smoother. When they first meet his is a alpha-hole to the max, but Avery isn’t a pushover and puts him in his place. Because ‘a five year old could do gymnastics, right?’ 😏

Avery is a college gymnast recovering from an injury and trying to get her groove back not just physically, but mentally. She knows she can help Knox if he wasn’t being so damn stubborn. What starts out as them butting heads all the time turns into a friendship, turns into so much more!

The character development for each of them was freaking amazing. I loved seeing the moments with Knox and his brothers and his sweet moments with Avery 🥰 GAH! Literally ran and bought a ordered a copy the minute I finished!

If you like bad boys who fall HARD for their girls you are going to LOVE this book!
